Bookkeeper

Are you looking for a change? As we continue to expand, we are seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join our team!

Role Overview:

As a bookkeeper, you will work closely with the bookkeeping team to provide exceptional full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll services to our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and effective communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements

  • Process payroll and payroll remittances

  • Prepare and submit GST and PST filings

  • Communicate with clients and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) via phone and email

  • Provide ongoing bookkeeping support and guidance to clients

  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as required

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant bookkeeping experience

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Sage

  • Experience working with the agricultural industry is an asset

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • A client-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service

Salary:

Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
