Bookkeeper
Are you looking for a change? As we continue to expand, we are seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join our team!
Role Overview:
As a bookkeeper, you will work closely with the bookkeeping team to provide exceptional full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll services to our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and effective communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Process payroll and payroll remittances
Prepare and submit GST and PST filings
Communicate with clients and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) via phone and email
Provide ongoing bookkeeping support and guidance to clients
Perform other clerical and administrative duties as required
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum of three years of relevant bookkeeping experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Sage
Experience working with the agricultural industry is an asset
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
A client-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service
Salary:
Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
